Richemont seeks an experienced SAP Ariba Business Analyst in Moscavide, Portugal to lead Buying module go-live and implementation of procurement systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business process analysis and translate business needs into comprehensive functional requirements and user stories
  • Design and configure SAP Ariba Buying module settings, including PR/PO validation, workflow rules, procurement policies, and catalog management
  • Conduct requirements gathering and design workshops with stakeholders; document functional specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Configure non-standard customizations in SAP Ariba Guided Buying, including UX, process logic, and field mapping customizations
  • Manage SAP Ariba and SAP ECC backend integration, including CIG, cXML, and API governance (authentication, quotas, throttling, versioning)
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing; manage defect resolution
  • Support go-live activities and ensure system readiness across all procurement lifecycle flows
  • Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog prioritization, feasibility validation, and impact analysis
  • Document functional knowledge, contribute to playbooks, and suggest process optimizations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure all integrations and configurations adhere to product constraints, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading and executing multiple end-to-end SAP Ariba Buying implementations
  • Minimum 2–3 completed full lifecycle implementation projects as a lead business analyst
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Ariba Buying and Guided Buying modules, including PR/PO validation, workflow, procurement policies, and catalog management
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Ariba non-standard configuration (UX customization, process logic customization, field mapping)
  • Expertise in Ariba administration, maintenance, and SAP ECC backend integration (Ariba ↔ CIG)
  • Proficiency in SAP MM module and end-to-end procurement processes within SAP ECC
  • Knowledge of integration technologies including CIG, cXML, and APIs
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing and monitoring SAP ECC landscapes
  • Understanding of Ariba Business Network integration
  • Knowledge of indirect and services procurement channels (free text, catalog, spot buy)
  • Proven experience developing and executing test strategies, including UAT and defect management

5+ years of professional experience in SAP Ariba implementations, with at least 2–3 full lifecycle implementation projects as the lead business analyst. Demonstrated expertise in configuring all aspects of the SAP Ariba Buying module, customizing Ariba to meet specific business requirements, and integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC backend systems. Proven experience in requirements elicitation, functional specification development, configuration validation, and UAT support across multiple end-to-end procurement lifecycle flows (indirect and services procurement channels). Experience with system integration architectures, API governance, and ensuring scalability and future-proofing of implementations.

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Professional certifications in SAP Ariba or enterprise resource planning systems are highly valued.
