The role spans Salesforce Service Cloud and Data Cloud, enterprise integrations, architecture governance, security, operational readiness and cross-workstream leadership. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for Client360 initiatives, from discovery and option assessment through detailed design, delivery and operational readiness.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into pragmatic solution blueprints aligned with Client Platforms and Enterprise Architecture guardrails.
- Design scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions covering data models, sharing and security, automation, extensibility, performance and maintainability.
- Lead integration architecture between Salesforce and enterprise platforms, including SAP, Google Cloud Platform and third-party applications.
- Define and govern API-led, event-driven, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, including security, error handling, resilience, replay, reconciliation and observability.
- Collaborate with MuleSoft, Solace, Kong and integration teams to establish consistent API, messaging and canonical data model practices.
- Define integration contracts and non-functional requirements covering interface ownership, data quality, throughput, latency, availability, versioning and backward compatibility.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, traceability, support ownership and recovery procedures across Salesforce and connected platforms to ensure end-to-end integration operability.
- Review and validate technical designs, user stories, change requests and architectural proposals produced by Product and delivery teams.
- Facilitate architecture, integration, security and design-authority discussions, documenting decisions, risks, assumptions, dependencies and technical debt.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, identity and access-management requirements, including OAuth, SSO, role-based access and data protection.
- Assess Salesforce releases, new platform capabilities and integration technologies, and lead focused proofs of concept where relevant.
- Support analysis and resolution of major platform or integration incidents and drive sustainable corrective actions.
- Maintain architecture standards, reusable patterns, decision records, diagrams and implementation guidelines, while coaching technical leads and developers.
- Own architecture for Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities, including ingestion, data harmonization, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, activation, consent and integration with Service Cloud and external platforms.
- Act as accountable architecture lead across multiple workstreams, coordinating architectural decisions and dependencies across internal teams, implementation partners, vendors and enterprise technology domains.
- Challenge and validate implementation choices across Apex, Flow, Lightning components, Salesforce platform limits, integration middleware, events, API contracts and enterprise data models; remain hands-on at design-detail level with developers and engineers.
- Define and validate measurable non-functional requirements for scalability, resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, throughput, latency, performance, security, observability and operational support.
- Lead architecture reviews for high-volume and business-critical processes, including failure scenarios, idempotency, retry strategies, replay, reconciliation, data consistency and end-to-end recovery.
- Govern architecture from design through production, ensuring approved decisions are implemented and deviations, risks and technical debt are explicitly managed.
- Architect privacy- and compliance-ready data solutions adhering to global data protection laws, including GDPR and PIPL, using Salesforce Shield encryption, event monitoring and data retention mechanisms.
