Richemont Salesforce Release Manager & Platform Administrator in Lisbon, Portugal. Oversee platform operations, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise releases.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate Salesforce releases across environments, from planning and readiness checks to production deployment and post-release validation
- Manage release calendars, dependencies, and activities in collaboration with development, product, and architecture teams
- Handle deployment issues, troubleshooting, and rollback activities as required
- Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases, critical updates, and deprecations; assess their impact and coordinate required testing and remediation
- Continuously improve release processes, standards, and documentation
- Act as a key Salesforce administrator and ensure the overall health, stability, and maintainability of the Salesforce organisation
- Monitor platform usage, limits, storage, licenses, scheduled jobs, integrations, and other key platform indicators
- Manage environments and sandboxes, as well as users, permissions, and access according to established governance and security principles
- Identify configuration issues, technical debt, and platform risks; coordinate remediation actions
- Support incident investigation and root-cause analysis for Salesforce-related issues
- Operate, maintain, and evolve GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting Salesforce delivery
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation for build, validation, deployment, and release activities
- Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues; improve automation reliability
- Contribute to branching, merge request, versioning, quality gates, and release strategies
- Promote Salesforce and DevOps best practices; identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and secure delivery processes
Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification (preferred)
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (preferred)
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification (advantageous)
- Additional Salesforce or DevOps-related certifications (appreciated)
Skills
Experience
Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and release management in an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, metadata, sandboxes, and deployment mechanisms. Experience with Salesforce CLI, Salesforce DX, and source-driven development practices. Good understanding of Salesforce platform constraints, governor limits, seasonal releases, and critical updates. Strong hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD. Ability to maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with branching strategies, merge requests, versioning, and automated validation. Scripting skills (Shell or equivalent) for DevOps and deployment automation.
