Cartier Sales Experience Manager position in McLean, Virginia. Lead boutique sales, team, and client strategies for luxury jewelry retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead business development and relationship management through strategic client interactions and memorable experiences
- Drive sales and care service teams to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
- Master boutique business knowledge and assess local market opportunities to implement proactive, effective sales strategies
- Partner with boutique leadership on CRM initiatives including client outreach, data capture, and repurchase rate optimization
- Lead and promote boutique team networking activities and serve as point of contact for stylists and media partnerships
- Develop and execute Prestige Partnership strategies to increase prestige sales and advance VIP client strategies
- Collaborate with boutique management, regional, and corporate partners to determine, communicate, and monitor individual and team KPIs
- Lead boutique projects including inventories and audit preparation; partner with Operations Manager on cost optimization
- Prepare regular sales reporting and analysis including monthly qualitative business development reports
- Motivate and support boutique staff; communicate strategic brand initiatives through regular team meetings and training
- Perform administrative and HR tasks including commission accuracy, scheduling, payroll, and overtime management
- Actively recruit and develop talent pipeline; identify coaching opportunities and partner on training implementation
- Lead performance management process through scheduled individual meetings and biannual performance reviews
- Uphold Cartier standards through professional appearance, manner, and demeanor; foster collaborative boutique environment
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of management experience, preferably in luxury retail or hospitality
- Proven experience managing direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (preferred)
- Previous experience with SAP (preferred)
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships
- Proficiency in fostering a united, collaborative work environment with a 'can do' attitude

Experience
8–10 years of management experience, with particular emphasis on luxury retail or hospitality environments. Required experience managing direct reports and demonstrated success in developing and motivating sales teams. Retail operational expertise and familiarity with boutique-level business management required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 140,000 per annum.
