Richemont Sales Experience Manager role in Short Hills, NY—luxury boutique leadership position with $125K–$140K salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development of excellent client relationships by creating and celebrating memorable moments for boutique visitors and clients
- Drive sales and care service teams to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Master strong boutique business knowledge and assess local market opportunities to implement proactive and effective sales strategies
- Implement effective client strategies to ensure genuine relationship development resulting in increased business opportunities
- Partner with boutique leadership and teams on CRM efforts including client outreach, data capture, and repurchase rate optimization
- Lead and promote networking activities for the boutique team
- Serve as point of contact for visiting stylists and press photo shoots in partnership with the PR team
- Develop Prestige Partnership strategies to increase prestige sales and further develop the VIP client strategy
- Support sales and care service teams on escalated client matters to ensure optimal solutions
- Collaborate with Corporate Departments (Retail, merchandising, marketing, etc.) to communicate key messages and business opportunities
- Lead and delegate boutique projects including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and audit preparation
- Partner with the Operations Manager to monitor and optimize controllable operating expenses
- Prepare regular sales reporting and analysis including monthly reports with qualitative business development insights
- Participate in daily boutique setup and breakdown for opening and closing as needed
- Motivate and support boutique staff through strategic brand communications and regular team meetings
- Educate boutique teams with Maison knowledge, competitive landscape insights, and industry news
- Perform administrative and HR tasks including commission accuracy checks, scheduling, payroll, and overtime management
- Actively recruit and maintain a talent pipeline for the boutique
- Identify training and coaching opportunities for sales teams in partnership with corporate L&D partners
- Lead performance management processes through regularly scheduled individual meetings and biannual performance reviews
- Assess employee potential and propose development opportunities in partnership with boutique management and HR
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of management experience in luxury retail or hospitality
- Proven experience managing direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication abilities
- CRM and sales strategy expertise
- Understanding of boutique operations and inventory management
- Experience with SAP (preferred)
