Richemont seeks a Sales Associate in Vienna to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales for its maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience in a high-end boutique setting and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and effective upsell strategies.
- Maintain exhaustive product knowledge (materials, workmanship, collections) and communicate brand heritage and value to clients.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, manage transactions accurately and ensure compliant cash and inventory handling.
- Ensure visual merchandising, boutique presentation and stockroom organisation conform to brand standards at all times.
- Support store events, private client appointments and after‑sales service, liaising with ateliers or service teams as required.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, safety and brand governance policies while promoting a culture of discretion and client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Fluency in German and professional command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills with a polished, client‑centric demeanour appropriate to luxury retail.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in the luxury sector or with premium watches/jewellery, with proven sales results.
- Reliable numeracy and organisational skills; ability to manage appointments, follow up leads and maintain client records.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and occasional events.

Typically 1–3 years of customer-facing retail experience, ideally within the luxury sector or premium brand environment, with evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering bespoke client service.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, luxury goods or sales is desirable.
