Richemont seeks a Sales Associate in Hong Kong to deliver boutique-level client service and drive luxury sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service in a boutique environment, building long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Proactively prospect, engage and convert walk-in and appointment clients to meet and exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across collections and communicate provenance, craftsmanship and technical details convincingly.
- Execute clienteling activities using the store CRM: follow up leads, schedule appointments, and record detailed client preferences and purchase history.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process sales, exchanges and returns accurately while complying with cash handling and loss-prevention procedures.
- Ensure visual merchandising and boutique presentation meet brand standards; assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts and receiving deliveries.
- Support store events, private viewings and trunk shows, collaborating with the store team and regional management as required.
- Adhere to all company policies on security, compliance and data protection when handling luxury goods and client information.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver luxury-level client service with a commercial, sales-driven mindset.
- Fluent English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin advantageous for the Hong Kong market.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with polished presentation and professional etiquette.
- Numerate, with experience handling transactions and meeting sales targets; strong attention to detail.
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays; ability to work retail shift patterns.
- Right to work in Hong Kong (employer may require valid work permit or residency).
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ year of frontline retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion, watches or jewellery; demonstrable success meeting sales targets and managing high-value transactions is preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training in retail, sales or luxury brand management is advantageous.
