Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, personalised service to clients in a luxury boutique environment, handling enquiries and assisting throughout the sales process.
- Support the sales team with clienteling activities: maintaining client records, preparing follow-up communications and assisting with CRM updates.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately and manage receipts and returns according to maison standards.
- Assist with visual merchandising and housekeeping to ensure the boutique reflects brand guidelines and seasonal displays.
- Receive and unpack deliveries, perform stock counts and help maintain inventory accuracy and back‑of‑house organisation.
- Contribute to store events and private client appointments, including preparing presentation materials and coordinating logistics.
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist management with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate programme in business, luxury management, fashion retail or a related discipline and eligible for a French convention de stage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented attitude and an aptitude for personalised client engagement.
- Professional presentation, discretion and the ability to represent a high-end maison with refinement.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by boutique operations.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships or part-time roles in retail or hospitality are advantageous. Demonstrable customer-service experience will be considered a plus.
Education
Currently enrolled in a university or grande école programme in business, luxury management, fashion, retail or a related field; eligible for an internship agreement (convention de stage) in France.
