Delvaux Hong Kong seeks an experienced Sales Advisor to manage sales channels and drive business development for the world's oldest luxury leather goods house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex potential customer accounts, identifying and building connections with key decision-makers and influencers to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution
  • Set clear sales call objectives, deliver tailored presentations addressing customer interests and concerns, gather strategic information, and secure formal statements of requirements
  • Cultivate industry networks and represent the organization at sector events to gather market intelligence and enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Configure sophisticated product-and-services solutions with associated contractual terms meeting mid-to-long-term customer needs; present solutions and negotiate agreements within commercial parameters
  • Manage pricing and terms projects through negotiation with external strategic partners, and authorize or escalate sales proposals deviating from standard terms
  • Monitor specific business performance segments to ensure strategic alignment with financial objectives and sales targets
  • Manage and maintain major contract portfolios, developing and supervising service-level agreements and related contract activities
  • Oversee CRM system implementation and maintenance, identifying and communicating system improvement opportunities to enhance customer relationship management
  • Implement and control compliance management for external partners within area of responsibility
  • Develop product education programs addressing identified performance and business requirements
  • Serve as subject matter expert in technology, policy, regulation, or operational management; maintain external accreditations and stay current with industry regulations and best practices
  • Ensure all activities comply with the organization's diversity and inclusion guidelines

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Extensive experience demonstrating capability to handle complex situations and advise team members
  • Proven experience in general supervision and development of junior colleagues
  • Advanced ability in relationship management and complex account development
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRM system implementation and optimization
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and service-level agreements
  • Knowledge of luxury goods sector or selective retail channels preferred
