Richemont Safety Officer in Sydney. Develop and maintain health and safety policies, conduct audits, and ensure WHS compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures across all operational areas
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training and induction programs to employees across all departments
- Maintain detailed safety documentation, records, and compliance reports for regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with management and department heads to foster a strong safety culture
- Monitor compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation
Qualifications
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Health and Safety professional certification (IOSH or equivalent)
- Knowledge of relevant Australian workplace health and safety legislation
- Proven experience in health and safety management within a retail or hospitality environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in health and safety management, ideally within the luxury retail, hospitality, or multi-site operational environment.
Education
Completion of secondary education; tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
