Role & Responsibilities

• Own the target-state technology architecture and define the future SAP S/4HANA-centred landscape, including ERP core, satellites, integrations, and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and third-party platforms
• Translate scope and simplification decisions into a viable and scalable architecture blueprint aligned with Group architecture principles and clean-core strategy
• Define clear ERP boundaries ensuring consistency between what is removed, simplified, rebuilt, extended, or externalised
• Own the integration and extensibility strategy, including application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, and event-driven patterns
• Assess technical feasibility, dependencies, and sequencing to anchor ambition in technical reality
• Prepare technology principles, architecture guardrails, and inputs required for Solution Design
• Partner with product and technical teams to upskill on SAP S/4HANA and ensure decisions are grounded in technical reality
• Collaborate with the Programme Director and Group Platforms leadership to guide the evolution of the ERP landscape across the programme lifecycle

Qualifications

• Senior experience in large-scale ERP and platform transformations, with SAP S/4HANA experience mandatory
• Proven track record in Technical Architecture in complex environments
• Deep experience designing hybrid landscapes encompassing ERP, satellites, data, integrations, and cloud platforms
• Strong mastery of SAP S/4HANA architecture patterns, clean-core principles, and extensibility models
• Deep understanding of integration architectures, APIs, middleware, and SAP BTP
• Ability to translate simplification and legacy constraints into forward-looking architecture choices
• Strong analytical capability to frame technology trade-offs such as standard versus flexibility versus cost
• Structured decision-framing with focus on long-term operability and scalability
• Credible authority with both technology and business stakeholders, comfortable engaging with executive-level forums

Senior-level experience in large-scale ERP transformations and platform migrations, specifically with SAP S/4HANA implementations. Demonstrated expertise architecting complex hybrid technology landscapes across multiple international entities or multi-brand environments. Proven ability to operate at strategic level with executive stakeholders while maintaining deep technical credibility.
