Richemont is hiring a Retail Supervisor in Yongin, South Korea. Lead boutique operations, sales and client experience for a luxury maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the boutique sales team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain boutique operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS accuracy and loss-prevention protocols.
- Drive clienteling activities and ensure a premium in-store experience for high-net-worth customers, including follow-ups and VIP appointment management.
- Oversee visual merchandising standards and inventory control, managing stock moves, reconciliations and ad-hoc transfers.
- Prepare and submit operational and sales reports, analyse KPIs and work with store management to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
- Act as the boutique manager’s deputy when required and liaise with regional/head office on product, marketing and client events.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a retail environment; prior supervisory experience within premium or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and developing client relationships in a high-touch setting.
- Strong organisational skills with experience in stock control, cash handling and store operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and motivate a multicultural team.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years in retail sales within premium or luxury brands, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role. Experience with clienteling and luxury inventory processes preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, with easy access to Seoul.
