Richemont Retail Operations Manager position in Paris. Lead store operations, inventory, and team management at a luxury flagship boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation and adherence to shop procedures including cashier operations, customer follow-up, and opening/closing protocols across all team members
- Oversee security procedures and protocols for the boutique, coordinate with security agents, and manage access credentials and vigilance alerts
- Supervise boutique maintenance, coordinate facility interventions, and propose new operational procedures tailored to store-specific requirements
- Build and optimize team schedules to balance staffing levels with activity forecasts, anticipating resource needs and operational efficiency
- Provide regular feedback to management regarding team performance issues and propose actionable solutions
- Facilitate team briefings to ensure effective communication of operational priorities and share best practices from mystery shopper visits
- Monitor boutique performance metrics and share analysis with management
- Ensure proper functioning of IT infrastructure and WiFi networks in coordination with IT teams
- Maintain safety and health standards compliance with labor code regulations, including medical supply management
- Serve as DARE system key user and training referent for new store associates and the broader network
- Lead annual boutique action plan implementation and coordinate cross-functional retail transformation projects
- Manage inventory in close collaboration with the stock manager, ensuring seasonally appropriate stock levels and procedure compliance
- Direct annual inventory counts and audits in partnership with store direction and stock management
- Guarantee financial and commercial procedure compliance within the boutique
- Manage cash opening and closing processes and oversee cashier operations
- Ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation between SAP and store records, handle fund deposits, and transmit documentation to accounting
- Recruit and develop team talent actively, ensuring retention within the pool
- Lead team meetings regularly to communicate objectives and strategic brand priorities
- Collaborate with store director and assistant directors to develop and implement learning and development strategies for sales team in coordination with HR
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail operations management or similar supervisory role in luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with retail management systems (DARE) and POS/cash handling procedures
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and logistics coordination
- Experience in team recruitment, scheduling, and performance management
- Understanding of security protocols, compliance procedures, and health and safety regulations in retail
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably within luxury goods, jewelry, watches, or high-end accessories retail. Prior experience in team management, inventory oversight, and operational compliance required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or equivalent professional qualification preferred; equivalent experience in retail operations may substitute.
