Retail Operations Lead at Richemont in Brussels – manage boutique operations, inventory, and compliance for luxury jewelry and watches brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-day closing tasks and operational procedures using Mendix, including discounts, returns, exchanges, refunds, and cash reconciliation
- Serve as the compliance reference for the team, building and maintaining expertise to support Sales Associates and ensure a fully compliant boutique environment
- Independently open and close the boutique while maintaining security and operational protocols
- Execute all stock management duties including reception, shipping, quality control, and protection of luxury creations
- Prepare creations for display, manage price labeling, and execute price changes across the boutique
- Oversee consignment management and omni-channel order fulfillment from a stock management perspective
- Coordinate Customer Service back-of-house tasks such as shipping and reception
- Prepare and execute inventory management activities including annual counts, cycle counts, and spot counts for finished goods, spare parts, and additional inventory items (certificates, stones, etc.)
- Support boutique management on audit preparation, maintenance coordination, and IT/facilities escalation
- Identify operational pain points and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the boutique
- Provide exceptional floor presence and operational orchestration during critical business needs
- Assist with inventory and audit preparation as directed by management
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in retail or luxury boutique operations management
- Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management platforms such as Mendix
- Demonstrated proficiency in compliance procedures and regulatory requirements for luxury retail
- Experience in stock control, merchandise handling, and inventory reconciliation
- Ability to manage multiple operational and administrative tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities

Experience
Strong operational background in retail or luxury goods environments, with demonstrated experience managing boutique-level operations, inventory systems, and team coordination
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional professional retail operations certification is advantageous
