Richemont is hiring a Retail Operations Intern in Amsterdam — support boutique operations, inventory and merchandising for a leading luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations including stock receiving, replenishment and back‑of‑house organisation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, returns processing and coordination with central logistics.
- Assist with visual merchandising execution and showroom presentation to align with brand directives.
- Prepare and reconcile daily sales and operational reports; support KPI tracking and basic data analysis.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems and assist with client appointments and clienteling administration.
- Coordinate with regional retail, supply‑chain and marketing teams to support store events and launches.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, order tracking, and ensuring compliance with store procedures and loss‑prevention policies.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Business, Luxury Management or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable interest in luxury retail and brand stewardship.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical aptitude and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a client‑centric mindset.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, for the duration of the internship.

Experience
Previous retail experience or internships (preferably within luxury or premium retail) are advantageous but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate familiarity with store routines and a desire to develop in retail operations.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion/Luxury Management or a related field.
