Richemont is hiring a Retail Director, NEA in Hong Kong to lead retail strategy, P&L and multi‑market operations across North‑East Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the retail strategy for North‑East Asia (NEA), aligning store network, customer experience and commercial priorities with maison-level objectives.
- Own P&L and performance for the NEA retail business; set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, margins and forecasts.
- Lead multi-market retail operations including flagship and concept stores, ensuring consistent brand presentation and service standards across the region.
- Build, mentor and manage senior retail leadership (country/general managers), talent pipelines and store teams to deliver high-performance results.
- Drive client development and CRM initiatives, supporting VIP clienteling, retention programmes and high-touch aftersales.
- Coordinate cross-functional programmes with merchandising, marketing, visual merchandising, e‑commerce and supply chain to optimise inventory, omnichannel fulfilment and product allocation.
- Represent retail with maison and group stakeholders; lead market launches, events and in‑store activations to maximise commercial impact.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, governance, loss prevention and operational controls.
Qualifications
- Proven senior leadership experience in luxury retail with responsibility for multi‑market or regional operations.
- Track record of P&L ownership and delivering sustained sales and margin growth in high‑value retail environments.
- Demonstrable experience managing flagship stores, high‑value client programmes and complex wholesale/retail interfaces.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning capability and experience translating brand strategy into retail execution.
- Ability to operate fluently in a multicultural, matrixed organisation and manage senior internal and external stakeholders.

Extensive senior-level experience in luxury retail, typically including multiple years managing country or regional teams within North‑East Asian markets and demonstrable P&L responsibility for a multi‑store network.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, management or a related field; advanced degree or executive education in retail/management preferred.
