Richemont is hiring a Retail Design Project Manager in West Malling to lead luxury retail design and construction projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from design brief through implementation and store opening
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, visual merchandisers, and brand teams to align design concepts with commercial objectives
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver on schedule and within financial parameters
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and design integrity
- Prepare and present project reports, design documentation, and cost analyses to senior stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed
Qualifications
- Proven track record managing retail design or construction projects of significant complexity and budget
- Strong knowledge of retail architecture, visual merchandising, and luxury brand positioning
- Proficiency with project management software and design visualization tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance aesthetic vision with commercial and operational constraints
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail design project management, ideally within the luxury goods, high-end hospitality, or premium retail sector. Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-phase projects with cross-cultural teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, project management, or related discipline. Additional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
