The Responsible Sourcing Assistant supports supplier audits, process and material traceability, workplace safety and social responsibility, and corrective actions across the leather goods supply chain. The role is full-time on a fixed-term contract through 29 January 2027, under the leather manufacturing collective agreement, at employee grade 4.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate directly in audits at partner companies and suppliers of raw materials and finished products, focusing on environmental, social, health and workplace safety regulations.
- Collect data to ensure traceability of processes and materials, as well as appropriate supplier working conditions in terms of safety and social responsibility.
- Update periodic assessments and manage supplier non-conformities, promoting their resolution.
- Track audit progress and maintain and periodically update related reporting.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of key Health, Safety & Environment regulations.
- Technical knowledge of management systems, particularly UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI EN ISO 45001.
- Degree in Management Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Law, Economics, or Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace.
- At least one previous experience with inspection, conformity assessment or certification bodies, or in CSR, Sustainability or HR Administration.
- Fluent English, level B1 or higher.
- Proactivity, results orientation, and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Availability to travel within Italy.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 28003.64 per annum.
