Richemont internship in La Chaux-de-Fonds: 6-month R&D role in watchmaking process data collection and optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive bibliographic research on relevant chemical processes and horological decoration techniques
- Design and implement a data collection framework; assess current operational practices and identify gaps
- Analyze experimental data and develop predictive models for process drift and potential failures
- Utilize collected data to enhance process prediction accuracy and reliability
- Document and report findings through technical notes and regular presentations to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (chemistry, materials science, engineering, or data science)
- Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and manage experimental campaigns and interpret results
