Richemont Research & Innovation Intern – Digital Optimization in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Develop computational design methodologies for luxury watchmaking and jewelry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Synthesize existing knowledge and best practices in computational design optimization
- Develop and implement advanced numerical models for watch and jewelry component geometry
- Define and standardize treatment procedures for optimizing new parts while preserving mechanical performance
- Communicate technical results and methodologies internally and across all Richemont Houses and Maisons
- Collaborate with the Quality, Performance & Reliability team under direct supervision of an assigned mentor
Qualifications
- Master's-level student in computational science and engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, or equivalent discipline
- Specialization in modeling, numerical methods, or finite element analysis
- Advanced proficiency in programming (Python, MATLAB) and CAD/simulation software (ANSYS)
- Strong scientific rigor and technical writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and propose solutions
Skills
Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed Master's degree in computational engineering or related field; evidence of practical coursework or projects involving modeling and optimization.
Education
Master's-level engineering education (Grande École, EPF, or equivalent) in computational science, mechanical engineering, or mathematics with specialization in numerical methods or finite element analysis.
