Richemont internship in Buttes, Switzerland: develop water-resistant watch aging methodology as a mechanics Master's student in R&D.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive bibliographic research on water-resistant watch aging and failure mechanisms
- Execute unit-level testing and experimental trials on sealed watch components
- Correlate experimental results with theoretical physics and reliability principles
- Propose and validate an optimized aging protocol tailored to water-resistant timepiece specifications
- Design, prototype, and refine testing apparatus and fixtures required for experimental validation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or completing a Master's degree in mechanics or micromechanics
- Specialization or demonstrated knowledge in reliability engineering (preferred)
- Strong understanding of physical phenomena and mechanical failure modes
- Ability to propose, design, and iteratively test novel systems
- Collaborative mindset with demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Currently pursuing advanced studies in mechanics or related engineering discipline; prior internship or laboratory experience in materials testing, reliability engineering, or product development is advantageous.
