Richemont seeks a Regional Finance Controller in Meyrin, Switzerland to manage European financial operations and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee regional financial operations and reporting across European markets
- Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned territories
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with global finance functions to establish consistent reporting frameworks
- Lead the regional finance team and manage performance, development, and resource planning
- Monitor financial controls and internal audit recommendations to mitigate risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a controller or similar senior accounting role
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-country or regional finance operations
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and multiple accounting systems
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software platforms
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a controller, senior accountant, or equivalent management role. Prior experience managing regional finance operations across multiple countries strongly preferred. Experience within the luxury goods, retail, or multinational corporate environment is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is required or expected shortly.
