Richemont seeks Regional Cybersecurity Officer in Seoul, Korea to lead cyber risk management and compliance initiatives for the luxury conglomerate's global operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Enable cyber risk and control management implementation, contributing to group cyber risk strategy and steering assessment and monitoring of cyber risks and controls
  • Serve as principal point of contact for all cybersecurity activities within South Korea, engaging with Richemont executives and participating in strategic-level cyber risk assessments
  • Advise South Korean business units, operational teams, and IT teams on cyber risk expertise to ensure only acceptable risks are introduced and compliance with local legislation is maintained
  • Oversee and support the scaling of quantitative cyber risk management frameworks toward the group while tracking and monitoring cyber risk remediation and mitigation measures
  • Collaborate with cyber risk architects to embed cybersecurity best practices within business and enterprise applications, services, platforms, and processes through security-by-design approaches
  • Assist in local deployment and adaptation of the group cyber awareness program to reflect local culture and business practices

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience in various cybersecurity domains with a focus on cyber risk and control management
  • Proven knowledge and hands-on expertise in information security principles and South Korean security and privacy regulations, including PIPA and ISMS
  • Subject matter expertise in control management frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Top 20, ISO 27002, and NIST 800-53
  • Mastery of at least one industry-recognized common risk management framework (FAIR, NIST RMF, ISO 27005, ISO 31000, COSO, or equivalent)
  • Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or NIST CSF are advantageous
  • Experience working in large, multi-tier, and international environments

Education

Bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, computer science, risk management, or related discipline; advanced certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, NIST CSF, or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
