Richemont seeks an R&I Quality Project Manager in Neuchâtel, Switzerland to lead research & innovation quality projects for luxury timepieces and jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quality projects within Research & Innovation, defining objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&I, product development, manufacturing, sourcing, QA/QC and external ateliers) to ensure timely delivery of quality milestones for new product introductions.
- Define and translate quality requirements into technical specifications, test plans and validation protocols for prototypes and pilot series.
- Implement and monitor quality metrics, risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) and corrective actions (CAPA) to mitigate non-conformances during development.
- Manage supplier and atelier quality interactions, including qualification, audits, and material traceability for critical components.
- Maintain project documentation, technical dossiers and regulatory compliance records; prepare concise status reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives stemming from project learnings and post-launch quality feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, materials science, horology, chemistry or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Proven experience managing quality projects within luxury goods, watches, jewellery or precision manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle (NPI), quality methodologies (FMEA, CAPA) and validation/testing protocols.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership; ability to reconcile technical, aesthetic and commercial constraints.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English; additional languages advantageous.

Typically 4–8 years of progressive experience in quality, engineering or product development roles within luxury goods, watchmaking, jewellery or precision manufacturing, including demonstrable project management responsibility for R&I or NPI programmes.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, materials science, horology, chemistry or a related technical field.
