Role & Responsibilities
- Support the research & innovation team in the development and industrialization of a novel manufacturing process for luxury products.
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, including setup, parameter variation and documentation of process runs.
- Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to optimise process parameters and improve repeatability.
- Perform materials characterization and metrology to evaluate component quality and tolerance compliance.
- Analyse experimental data, draw technical conclusions and produce concise technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production and design) to prepare scale-up and transfer-to-production plans.
- Contribute to process validation activities, risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions following root cause analysis.
- Adhere to company safety, quality and confidentiality requirements during experimental and prototyping activities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or engineering programme in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable analytical aptitude with experience in experimental design and data interpretation.
- Practical laboratory or workshop skills and familiarity with pilot production environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare technical reports and present findings to mixed technical audiences.
- Proactive, methodical work style with attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Interest in luxury goods manufacturing and respect for artisanal quality standards.

Experience
Prior laboratory or industrial internship experience in process development, manufacturing engineering or materials testing is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a Master's degree or engineering programme (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Physics or equivalent).
