Cartier seeks a Quality Methods Technician in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland to define and validate manufacturing control processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and design inspection procedures, gauge locations, and control program specifications in collaboration with cross-functional industrialization teams
- Co-construct plans and validate control processes to achieve consensus on process capability and standards
- Deploy control processes to internal and external field teams and provide comprehensive training on inspection methodologies and equipment
- Propose, validate, and implement control standards to digitalize and automate quality deliverables and team outputs
- Maintain system data accuracy and produce regular activity and departmental KPI reporting
- Support field teams in component lifecycle management to anticipate issues and implement corrective or preventive modifications
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and non-conformity analyses to develop and implement innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Diploma in technician-level qualification with specialization in metrology or CNC machining
- Strong command of ISO GPS blueprint reading and dimensional specifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming and numerical command systems
- Familiarity with the watchmaking or precision manufacturing sector
- Expertise in at least one of: Calypso-Zeiss, Keyence LM Series, or CREO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Windchill experience preferred
Skills
Experience
Solid professional experience in quality methods, manufacturing engineering, or precision manufacturing environments, with demonstrable expertise in developing and validating control processes within regulated or high-precision sectors.
Education
Technical diploma (Baccalauréat Professionnel, BTS, or equivalent) in metrology, CNC machining, or a related precision manufacturing discipline.
