Richemont seeks a Purchasing Project Specialist in Scandicci to manage procurement projects and supplier relationships within luxury supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage purchasing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, conducting vendor assessments and negotiations to optimize pricing and delivery terms
- Track procurement KPIs and prepare detailed project reports for senior management, highlighting cost savings and operational improvements
- Liaise between internal stakeholders (design, production, finance) and external suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to inform purchasing strategies and minimize supply chain disruptions
- Implement process improvements and best practices in procurement workflows to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related discipline
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain project management (3+ years preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial acumen
