Jaeger-LeCoultre seeks Procurement Manager for watches division in Le Sentier, Switzerland. Lead buying strategy, supplier relations, and team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for assigned product families in collaboration with internal stakeholders and manage contingency protocols
- Prospect and evaluate new suppliers while maintaining awareness of market competitiveness and industry trends
- Serve as primary liaison for supplier communication and relationship management within the commercial framework
- Organize supplier visits and Business Review meetings
- Ensure price performance and supplier budget accountability across assigned portfolio
- Pilot purchasing activities in coordination with internal teams regarding Make-or-Buy decisions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
- Lead and coordinate operational activities of the watches buying team
- Manage development and HR oversight of buyers and Procurement Project Managers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a procurement specialist or buyer in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Educational background in procurement engineering or supply chain management
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and core business software
- Exceptional communicative abilities and diplomatic approach to stakeholder relations
- Strong analytical mindset with proven attention to detail and reliability
