Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement engineering team in sourcing and qualifying suppliers for technical components and subassemblies.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, compare technical offers and compile cost analyses to support sourcing decisions.
  • Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure supplier proposals meet functional and quality requirements.
  • Assist with supplier performance monitoring, non‑conformance reporting and corrective action tracking.
  • Maintain procurement and parts data in internal systems and produce regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional exchanges with design, quality and production teams to resolve sourcing issues.
  • Support supplier visits, audits and continuous improvement initiatives under the supervision of senior buyers/engineers.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical programme (mechanical, industrial, materials, manufacturing or supply‑chain oriented degree).
