Richemont seeks a Project Manager — Process Innovation & Circularity in Scandicci, Italy to lead circularity pilots and process optimisation across production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional projects to design, pilot and scale process innovations that reduce material waste, improve product lifecycle performance and enable circular business models.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines and budgets; manage resources, risks and project governance to ensure on‑time delivery of pilots and rollouts.
  • Coordinate R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, sustainability and external suppliers to translate circularity concepts into manufacturable processes.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure environmental benefits (e.g., waste reduction, reuse rates, durability) and present results to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical and commercial feasibility analyses, cost‑benefit assessments and implementation roadmaps for process changes and circular initiatives.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for production teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders to embed new processes and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, environmental sciences, industrial engineering or equivalent; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven project management certification or training (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of circular economy principles, life‑cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies and sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working with manufacturing processes, supplier development and quality systems in a luxury, fashion or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses; fluency with project financials and KPI tracking.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, sustainability, industrial engineering or a related discipline; a relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
