Richemont seeks a Lean Operations Project Manager in Buttes, Switzerland. Drive transformation initiatives and operational excellence across luxury manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive diagnostics and pertinent analysis of industrial processes to identify priority improvement opportunities
- Pilot end-to-end cross-functional transformation and workflow optimization projects from action planning through on-site implementation across production and support services
- Support Autonomous Production Entities (EAP) and support services in executing their operational excellence roadmaps
- Actively animate the Operational Excellence community within the manufacture to foster synergies and best-practice sharing
- Exploit emerging technologies to modernize Lean methodologies and approaches
- Develop management tools and decision-support applications to facilitate daily team operations
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (generalist or industrial engineering), ideally supplemented by Lean management training and other operational excellence methodologies (Six Sigma or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of project leadership experience in an industrial sector
- Demonstrated strong interest in Industry 4.0 and appetite for Lean Manufacturing, its concepts, posture and underlying philosophy
- Client-oriented, results-focused mindset with emphasis on solution impact
- Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent analytical capabilities
- Humble and rigorous approach with demonstrated empathy and strong communication skills across all levels
- Recognized diplomacy and federation capabilities
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of project leadership experience in an industrial sector, with proven capability in piloting transformation initiatives and optimizing operational processes.
Education
Engineering degree (generalist or industrial engineering), ideally complemented by Lean management training and operational excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
