Richemont seeks a Technical Investments Project Manager (2-year contract) in Geneva, Switzerland to lead luxury manufacturing equipment acquisition projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead equipment acquisition projects through all phases, managing safety, environmental impact, costs, quality standards, and delivery timelines
- Animate and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver integrated technical solutions
- Clarify and formalize internal client requirements and translate them into comprehensive project scope
- Develop functional specifications and request-for-proposals for new equipment procurement
- Identify and evaluate potential equipment suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Present and justify technical decisions, cost projections, and timeline estimates to stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee interactions with external partners throughout project lifecycles
- Maintain continuous project monitoring and deliver regular progress reports to leadership
- Execute and continuously improve manufacturing processes and project management methodologies
- Conduct active technology monitoring and market research to identify advanced manufacturing innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- 2–5 years of confirmed project management experience in industrial environments
- Specific experience with industrial equipment design, construction, or robotic solutions (preferred)
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with results-oriented mindset
- Cross-functional management aptitude and customer-centric orientation
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, rigor, and commitment to excellence
- Proficiency in French with strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English and/or German at B2 level or higher for technical and commercial interactions with international partners
Skills
Experience
2–5 years of documented project management experience in industrial contexts, ideally with specialized background in industrial equipment construction or robotic solution deployment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics, or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent professional qualification.
