Richemont seeks Chinese Project Analyst intern in Paris to support China strategy and luxury Maison partnerships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular research and analysis on Chinese economic, social, and policy developments affecting the luxury sector
  • Track and forecast Chinese outbound tourism trends and consumer behavior patterns relevant to luxury clientele
  • Analyze domestic market insights and competitive landscape within China
  • Execute ad-hoc research and strategic analyses according to Richemont Maisons' specific requests
  • Provide operational support and project coordination for Maisons' initiatives worldwide
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between Richemont leadership, key Maisons, and Chinese business partners
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with global and local Chinese business partners
  • Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations using advanced data analysis

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Master's-level student in Economics, International Relations, Management, or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Chinese macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions
  • Understanding of geopolitical dynamics relevant to international business
  • Familiarity with the luxury goods and high-end accessories sector
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentation
  • Strong editorial and analytical capabilities for research documentation
  • Detail-oriented approach to project implementation and business development
