Role & Responsibilities

• Direct daily oversight of programming team performance, ensuring compliance with FAO standards, tooling specifications, and project schedules across both watch and jewellery facilities
• Collaborate with the Methods Manager to optimize manufacturing performance, reduce operational costs, establish CAM standards, define cutting tool protocols, and manage post-processor development
• Develop manufacturing programs from 3D CAD specifications, select optimal machining methodologies, and document all operational procedures for reproducibility
• Lead reactive troubleshooting during production ramp-up, propose continuous process improvements, validate cycle times and quality metrics, and verify CNC capability requirements
• Train and mentor new programmers in advanced techniques; centralize technical documentation, post-processor configurations, and emerging machining technologies
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Methods, and cross-functional teams to ensure process standardization and formalization of manufacturing protocols
• Oversee production handover documentation and participate in staff training initiatives to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (technicien level or higher)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar CAM programming or manufacturing engineering role
• Expert proficiency in CAM software, ideally CREO, with demonstrated advanced knowledge of CNC programming
• Strong understanding of watch case component manufacturing or jewellery production processes (preferred)
• Proven expertise in CNC machining operations and numerical control systems
• Excellent collaborative mindset with demonstrated commitment to continuous performance improvement

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years in a comparable CAM programming or manufacturing methods role, with hands-on expertise in CNC machining, numerical control systems, and industrial manufacturing environments. Experience within the watchmaking or fine jewellery production sectors is valued.

Education

Engineering diploma or equivalent technical qualification (technicien level or higher).
