Laureus Sport for Good Hong Kong seeks an experienced Programme Manager to lead grant-funded sport development initiatives. Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day programme implementation and coordinate evaluation activities to ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications, quality standards and programme requirements
- Serve as a key team member supporting programme leaders in planning, design and development of programme materials under supervision of the Head of Development
- Coordinate delivery of the programme's core components including virtual briefing sessions, organisational diagnostics, the Sport for Development Certificate Course, one-to-one mentorship and demonstration day showcases
- Plan, organise, coordinate and deliver impact showcases and programme event activities with relevant stakeholders, managing event logistics and attendee coordination
- Prepare quarterly progress reports and expenditure claims for the funder, maintaining source documentation to audit standard
- Monitor and report on programme budget, providing timely updates on progress, expenditure and financial status
- Prepare evaluation reports and presentation materials based on evidence and key findings
- Engage relevant stakeholders and facilitate cross-sector collaboration with National Sports Associations, community partners, schools and donors to strengthen partnership effectiveness
- Maintain project records including attendance data and participant information in line with funder requirements and data privacy obligations
- Liaise with the funder's central coordinating team and fellow Academy grantees to align implementation, publicity and impact assessment
- Track delivery against the programme's agreed output targets and outcome indicators, supporting external peer review of evaluation findings
- Ensure funder acknowledgement and publicity requirements are met across all programme materials and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Philanthropy, Sport Management or a related discipline
- At least six years' experience in Hong Kong in philanthropy-related work, including grant delivery and grant management, or sport programme and business operations management
- Proven ability in programme management, including planning, execution and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and specifications
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Experience overseeing project budgets and financial reporting, including progress and expenditure updates
- Experience with grant-funded programmes and funder reporting requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Cantonese and English

Experience
At least six years' experience in Hong Kong in philanthropy-related work, including grant delivery and grant management, or sport programme and business operations management. Experience with grant-funded programmes and funder reporting requirements, particularly with Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust grants, is advantageous. In-depth understanding of how sport can drive social change in local communities is a valued asset.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Philanthropy, Sport Management or a related discipline.
