Richemont is seeking a Production Watchmaker Apprentice for a three-year CFC programme based in La Côte-aux-Fées. The apprentice assembles and adjusts watches, performs production and quality-control operations, and divides the week between three days of technical training at Manufacture ValFleurier and two days of theory at CPNE technical school.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble components for electronic, manual mechanical and automatic watches.
  • Inspect quality at different stages of production and correct defects.
  • Perform production operations including assembly, escapement work, movement adjustment, dial fitting, hand fitting, casing, and pivoting.
  • Carry out micromechanical work.
  • Complete watch casing and dressing.
  • Ensure movements and cases comply with specifications.
  • Perform final inspections.

Qualifications

  • Currently in the 11th year of secondary school and passionate about watchmaking.
  • Motivated and meticulous, with strong concentration and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Advanced general school level.

Education
