Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 9 production jewelers and CAD designers, overseeing technical skill development and career progression
- Ensure compliance with Standard Times of Operation (STOs) and establish corrective action plans when necessary
- Conduct individual performance reviews and manage training plans aligned with production demands and team capabilities
- Oversee work-in-progress inventory management and coordinate annual workshop audits
- Manage precious metal accountability for the team and prepare for monthly and yearly compliance audits
- Maintain a safe and secure workshop environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols
- Participate in allocation of production pieces to jewelers and organize workflow with production pilots
- Lead weekly production meetings and provide daily technical support and progress updates
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions and coordinate with international technical partners
- Manage technical coordination between setters, polishers, CAD specialists, and quality controllers to prevent defects
- Maintain machinery and equipment while identifying and implementing new production technologies and tools
- Ensure fulfillment of delivery timelines, cost compliance with estimates, and adherence to quality standards
- Oversee external workshop operations to maintain internal quality and lead-time standards
- Conduct production of jewelry pieces for approximately 50% of working time, maintaining minimum 85% productivity levels
- Participate in recruiting and hiring new team members
Qualifications
- Jeweler certification (OJ4 level or equivalent)
- Proven team management experience with direct supervisory responsibility
- 5–8 years of operations management experience in a luxury manufacturing or retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead other managers or supervisors
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Technical knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes and standards
- Proficiency in CAD systems and manufacturing instruction interpretation

Experience
5–8 years of operations management experience in a luxury retail or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated responsibility for leading direct reports and managing multi-level teams in a production setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical certification in jewelry manufacturing or artisanal craftsmanship strongly preferred.
