Production Sector Manager at Richemont, La Chaux-de-Fonds. Lead watchmaking operations and drive continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure operational performance of the sector across costs, quality, and timelines by optimizing production schedules and prioritizing client deliverables
- Anticipate product mix evolution and capacity changes while managing seamless integration of new product launches
- Guarantee proper utilization of production equipment and actively participate in investment strategy
- Enforce manufacturing specifications, quality control standards, and maintenance plans across all operations
- Lead commercial and logistical relationships with group clients within the after-sales service perimeter
- Drive new product development projects from feasibility through industrialization to first-series delivery
- Promote and embody a culture of operational excellence through proactive problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead resolution of complex issues by coordinating support services including logistics, methods, maintenance, and development
- Implement concrete action plans to optimize safety, quality, timelines, and productivity
- Integrate, motivate, and support team members towards achieving individual and collective objectives
- Manage schedules, organize workflows, and ensure transparent, effective team communication

Qualifications
- Engineering diploma with minimum 2 years in an industrial environment, or significant proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the watchmaking industry in a supervisory or manufacturing support role
- Knowledge of dial fabrication processes is advantageous
- Strong general knowledge of common manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with computer tools and Microsoft Office suite
