Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and implement quality criteria in collaboration with the Quality Manager, ensuring alignment with group standards
- Monitor the application of quality standards across production lines, including calibration of quality inspectors and daily validation support
- Track and analyse quality indicators including scrap rates, rework volumes, and customer returns; identify recurrence patterns and initiate improvement initiatives
- Lead monthly production quality review meetings and present findings to the Quality Assurance Manager and technical quality teams
- Conduct internal and external non-conformity investigations (NCI/NCE) using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, QRQC); guarantee methodological rigour and drive resolution actions
- Perform regular audits of assigned production areas to ensure compliance and identify enhancement opportunities
- Oversee subcontractor quality performance through indicator monitoring, technical support, problem resolution, and periodic audits
Qualifications
- Proficiency in quality management methodologies (8D, QRQC, or equivalent structured problem-solving frameworks)
- Experience with quality indicators and performance metrics in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with non-conformity management and root-cause analysis
- Knowledge of watch case, jewellery component, or precision manufacturing processes preferred
Skills
Experience
Experience in a production quality role within manufacturing, preferably in luxury goods, watchmaking, or precision component production. Demonstrated ability to manage quality standards and lead cross-functional problem-resolution efforts.
Education
Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, or related field preferred. Formal training in ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems beneficial.
