Richemont seeks a Production Planner in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland — coordinate production schedules, MRP and inventory for luxury manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with commercial forecasts and capacity constraints.
- Operate and supervise material requirements planning (MRP) processes to secure components and optimise inventory levels.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, quality control and logistics to resolve bottlenecks and accelerate throughput.
- Manage supplier lead times and follow up on purchase orders to guarantee timely receipt of critical parts and subassemblies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (OTD, inventory turns, days of supply) and produce regular reports for operations and senior management.
- Perform demand translation from sales/marketing inputs into executable shop-floor plans and adjust plans in response to changing priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning cadence, stock reduction and order fulfilment processes.
- Support product launches and seasonal ramps with detailed capacity and materials plans, escalating risks proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning, MRP or materials management—preferably within luxury goods, watchmaking or precision manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to translate commercial forecasts into operational plans and to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical capability with experience reporting on planning KPIs and driving process improvements.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with experience liaising across procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to planning and problem resolution.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in production planning, materials management or MRP roles; experience in a luxury manufacturing or precision production environment is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or equivalent; professional certifications in supply chain/production planning are an advantage.
