Vacheron Constantin seeks Production Line Manager in Le Brassus, Switzerland. Lead manufacturing operations and oversee 20–35 team members.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement production schedules while ensuring adherence to quality, quantity, cost, timeline, and safety criteria
- Supervise scheduling and supply chain management for the assigned line
- Coordinate workflow distribution and ensure balanced line operations
- Track and report production metrics and key performance indicators
- Manage production data entry and status updates in the ERP system
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities and equipment availability
- Detect and escalate technical issues and collaborate with Quality, Methods, and Technical Reference teams to resolve them
- Lead daily team activities including performance reviews and continuous improvement sessions
- Plan and organize workflow, motivate team members, and drive results achievement
- Manage staffing including absences, leave, coverage planning, recruitment needs, and shift rotations
- Conduct performance and competency evaluations for team members
- Support professional development and training needs identification for the team
- Define and deploy cross-training plans to ensure business continuity
- Oversee recruitment of new personnel in collaboration with Human Resources
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and internal regulations
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or production management diploma
- Proven expertise in industrial production management, ideally in multi-site environments with tight deadlines
- Experience in a sector requiring high quality standards and operational excellence
- Demonstrated ability to mobilize and lead teams towards collective production objectives
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
