Vacheron Constantin seeks Production Line Manager in Le Brassus, Switzerland. Lead manufacturing operations and oversee 20–35 team members.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Implement production schedules while ensuring adherence to quality, quantity, cost, timeline, and safety criteria
  • Supervise scheduling and supply chain management for the assigned line
  • Coordinate workflow distribution and ensure balanced line operations
  • Track and report production metrics and key performance indicators
  • Manage production data entry and status updates in the ERP system
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities and equipment availability
  • Detect and escalate technical issues and collaborate with Quality, Methods, and Technical Reference teams to resolve them
  • Lead daily team activities including performance reviews and continuous improvement sessions
  • Plan and organize workflow, motivate team members, and drive results achievement
  • Manage staffing including absences, leave, coverage planning, recruitment needs, and shift rotations
  • Conduct performance and competency evaluations for team members
  • Support professional development and training needs identification for the team
  • Define and deploy cross-training plans to ensure business continuity
  • Oversee recruitment of new personnel in collaboration with Human Resources
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and internal regulations

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or production management diploma
  • Proven expertise in industrial production management, ideally in multi-site environments with tight deadlines
  • Experience in a sector requiring high quality standards and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize and lead teams towards collective production objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
