Cartier seeks a Product Qualification Project Manager in Paris to lead jewelry manufacturing excellence and product validation initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define product qualification strategies to guarantee robustness and reliability prior to launch
  • Develop and coordinate pre-qualification and qualification testing plans
  • Lead and manage internal laboratory testing and external testing through MCH laboratory
  • Pilot and oversee wear-testing activities and analyze results to inform technical recommendations and project decisions
  • Drive deployment and advancement of numerical simulation methodologies to enhance qualification strategies
  • Develop and improve qualification plans by product family and function
  • Lead and animate reliability initiatives across the Cartier Joaillerie ecosystem
  • Develop and enrich predictive reliability models
  • Establish and manage product and process reliability validation activities using subsystem testing and stress-strength approaches
  • Monitor and govern reliability surveillance activities through performance indicators
  • Mentor an intern on reliability and numerical simulation projects
  • Define priorities and support competency development of direct reports

Qualifications

  • Experience in product development, industrialization, product qualification, or validation within luxury or high-precision manufacturing
  • Familiarity with numerical simulation and product reliability methodologies
  • Proficiency with ANSYS software (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with ability to structure and communicate clear reporting
  • Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail
  • Capability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and communicate technical recommendations effectively
  • Comfort working in cross-functional, collaborative environments

Experience

Experience in product development, industrialization, product qualification, or validation in a technical, demanding, and cross-functional environment is required. Education

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline relevant to product development, materials science, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering is expected.
