Cartier Paris seeks a 6-month Marketing & Merchandising Assistant intern (January 2027) to support watches collection strategy and retail performance management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Update and optimize weekly and monthly performance tracking tools by collection and boutique location
  • Prepare synthetic weekly and monthly performance commentary and analysis
  • Conduct ad hoc sales and inventory analyses with recommendations for stock harmonization across retail and wholesale networks
  • Develop, adapt and deploy French market sales enablement tools including product news and morning briefs
  • Build and maintain sales, stock and assortment tracking dashboards by boutique
  • Monitor product wishlists and update bi-monthly newsletter presenting results and upcoming launches
  • Analyze competitive pricing positioning and track new product launches and boutique news
  • Gather qualitative feedback from in-store brand ambassadors and sales teams
  • Serve as daily product reference point for boutiques and corporate office
  • Support product managers with creation of sales aids including mapping, launch plans and product books
  • Prepare meeting support materials including ambassador meetings, general Cartier updates and action plans
  • Deliver activation post-mortems and synthesis presentations
  • Collect field feedback to explain performance results or conduct ad-hoc surveys

Qualifications

  • Business School degree or equivalent final-year studies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (to be assessed during interview)
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
