Richemont seeks an LG Product Development Coordinator in Scandicci, Italy to manage leather-goods tech packs, samples and supplier liaison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end product development for leather goods: translate design brief into technical specifications, tech packs and production-ready documentation.
  • Manage sample creation and prototype cycles, schedule fittings and consolidates feedback between design, technical and production teams.
  • Liaise with internal functions and external suppliers/factories to monitor lead-times, quality checkpoints and cost implications.
  • Maintain and update PLM records, tech packs, spec sheets and bill of materials to ensure version control and traceability.
  • Support fit sessions and QC reviews, documenting non-conformances and driving corrective actions with manufacturers.
  • Track development timelines and escalate risks to meet seasonal launch deadlines.
  • Assist in material sourcing and testing for leathers, linings and hardware, ensuring compliance with maison standards.
  • Prepare development reports, costing inputs and sample acceptance documentation for cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on product development experience with leather goods or fashion accessories, preferably in luxury.
  • Proven ability to produce accurate tech packs, spec sheets and sample instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of leather types, construction techniques and accessory hardware.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple development tracks and tight timelines.
  • Clear, professional communication with internal teams and external vendors; ability to work across languages and cultures.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to version control and quality assurance.

Experience
