Piaget seeks an experienced Procurement Category Manager in Geneva, Switzerland to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management across indirect categories. Full-time role reporting to Head of Strategic Procurement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategy for indirect categories in alignment with the Maison's global procurement strategy and Group guidelines
- Serve as an expert advisor on best procurement practices and define optimal, value-driven ways of working with internal Business Owners
- Establish and maintain strong collaboration with internal Business Owners to understand needs and provide effective procurement support
- Ensure adoption of Procurement policy and Group guidelines by internal teams
- Collaborate with Group Procurement teams and Maisons to foster synergies
- Contribute to supplier sourcing and coordinate Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) processes
- Negotiate contractual terms and conditions to secure favorable terms and coordinate contractualization with Group Legal
- Manage risks related to suppliers and contracts
- Monitor and report on category performance including savings and cost avoidance metrics
- Consolidate follow-up reports across all categories and prepare management presentations on strategies, achievements, and challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of significant experience in strategic procurement
- At least 3–5 years of experience in indirect categories management, ideally within an international group
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities with capacity to interact at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to lead complex tenders and projects with high-level negotiations
- Team spirit and demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and proactive approach
- Fluent in French and English
