PR Coordinator role at Richemont in Tokyo—support PR strategy for luxury jewelry and accessories with media relations and content expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the PR Manager in developing and executing comprehensive PR plans across all team operations
  • Execute PR strategy for both online and offline media to secure qualitative earned media exposure and social engagement
  • Establish measurable campaign objectives and key performance indicators in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Conduct social media and industry research to inform campaign strategy and competitive positioning
  • Develop compelling content tailored to target audiences, exploring innovative approaches and emerging tools for digital engagement
  • Develop content ideas for paid media exposure and promotional schemes that resonate with the brand identity
  • Review article proofs and monitor published content for brand alignment and accuracy
  • Create detailed PR reports analyzing brand image, media coverage metrics, and social listening data using DMR and analytical tools
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key media contacts, publishers, journalists, celebrities, and influencers across relevant sectors
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other departments to ensure seamless execution of PR activities
  • Foster collaborative teamwork and contribute to a positive working culture through respectful communication and constructive feedback

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of professional PR experience
  • Experience in either in-house PR departments or PR agencies
  • Prior experience in jewelry, fashion, or cosmetics industries strongly preferred
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese
  • Business-level English proficiency, including verbal communication
  • Proficiency with social listening and analytics tools such as DMR
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and heritage craftsmanship narratives
