Richemont PR Assistant Manager
Richemont seeks a PR Assistant Manager in Tokyo to lead local media relations and PR activations for its maisons.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support and execute local PR strategy for assigned maison(s) in Japan, aligned with group and regional communications priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with national and trade media, digital editors, and lifestyle influencers to secure targeted coverage.
- Draft, edit and distribute press materials (press releases, media kits, product copy, Q&As) in both Japanese and English.
- Coordinate press events, product launches, store openings and media visits; manage logistics, guest lists and on-site briefings.
- Act as primary liaison between local market, regional headquarters and external PR/creative agencies; ensure brand consistency and timely approvals.
- Monitor and report on media coverage, sentiment and share of voice; produce regular coverage reports and post-campaign analyses.
- Support influencer and celebrity engagement activities, including contract coordination, content briefs and deliverable tracking.
- Contribute to crisis communications preparedness and rapid response when required.
- Manage local PR budgets and vendor invoices in coordination with finance and regional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- 3–5 years of PR or communications experience, ideally within luxury goods, fashion, watches, jewellery or lifestyle sectors.
- Demonstrable track record of securing editorial coverage and running successful press events in the Japanese market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and strong professional English.
- Experience working with PR agencies and cross‑functional global teams; strong stakeholder management.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on PR experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury fashion, watches, jewellery or high‑end lifestyle brands and who have managed local campaigns and media events in Japan.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline.
