Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and machine-assisted polishing to achieve satin, brushed and mirror finishes on metal components for luxury timepieces and/or jewellery.
  • Deburr, hand-finish and touch-up components to specification, ensuring conformity with technical drawings and finishing standards.
  • Inspect finished parts under magnification for surface defects, scratches, or inconsistencies and perform corrective rework as required.
  • Maintain tooling, polishing pads, compounds and work area in accordance with atelier cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Document production steps and quality checks in line with standard operating procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable manual dexterity and fine-motor control suitable for precision finishing work.
