Richemont seeks a PEGA Systems Architect in Moscavide, Portugal to lead enterprise-level PEGA development and customer service platform support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for assigned tickets from analysis through deployment and documentation in the issue tracker
  • Evaluate system issues and proactively suggest enhancements to enrich solutions
  • Assist the Tech Lead in estimating development effort and challenging capacity planning
  • Consult internal databases and external resources to deliver accurate technical solutions; enrich internal knowledge bases with newly identified issues
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including PEGA Developers, Front End Developers, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and QA to improve operations and recommend change initiatives
  • Attend and actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, reviews, and retrospectives; maintain activity status in Jira and ServiceNow
  • Contribute to and enforce best practices in developed products
  • Develop a customer-oriented mindset and foster a culture of trust and transparency

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a PEGA Certified Systems Architect or Certified Senior Systems Architect (CSSA/CSA) with proven project delivery
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated expertise with PEGA Platform 8 or above
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and API-first design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with PEGA configuration and development
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across business and technical stakeholders

Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting applications throughout their full lifecycle on PEGA Platform 8 and PEGA 25. Background in working with cross-functional technical and business teams in Agile environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
