Richemont is hiring a Payroll Executive in Sydney — responsible for end-to-end payroll, STP reporting and compliance in Australia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer end-to-end payroll processes for Australian employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and ensure compliance with ATO requirements including PAYG withholding and superannuation obligations.
- Process leave, overtime, allowances and salary adjustments; calculate entitlements and leave accruals in line with awards and enterprise agreements.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and liaise with finance to ensure accurate general ledger postings and month-end payroll close.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data privacy and confidentiality in accordance with internal policy and applicable legislation.
- Respond to employee and HR queries regarding payslips, taxation, superannuation and payroll-related matters.
- Support payroll audits, process improvements and system updates; prepare management payroll reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business or human resources, or Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, superannuation and modern awards.
- Preferable membership or engagement with the Australian Payroll Association or equivalent industry body.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years' hands-on payroll experience within Australia, including proven exposure to STP reporting, payroll reconciliations and working across multiple entities or award structures. Experience in a corporate or multi-brand environment is highly desirable.
Education
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business or human resources; or Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (preferred).
